Bioinformatics Research AssociateYou will work within two laboratories that are part of an internationally recognised, high quality, multidisciplinary program that investigates several diverse aspects of eukaryotic gene expression. A number of projects in labs will be supported which use the latest genomics technologies, including ChIP-seq and RNA-seq, to study how cellular signaling affects transcription factor function and chromatin structure on a genome-wide scale. Both embryonic stem cells and mammalian embryogenesis are being studied (for recent publications see; Nucleic Acids Res. 40:3990-4001 doi: 10.1093/nar/gkr1240; Cell Reports, doi: 10.1016/j.celrep.2014.05.037). You will join two highly motivated research groups working on the molecular mechanisms of eukaryotic transcription factor function in the context of differentiation and development.
