LUNDBECK FOUNDATION FELLOWSHIPS

image
Lundbeck Foundation wishes to award PhD scholarships for doctoral research in biomedical sciences at Danish research institutions. Scholarships are granted for free and independent, Danish-based research of the highest international quality in biomedical sciences.Scholarships are for a fixed amount and cover salary, tuition fees and contribution towards the operation of a project. The size of the scholarship depends on the recipient's education and whether the recipient is employed at a university or a hospital. The Foundation requires the recipient of the scholarship to enrol as a PhD student at the university. It is possible to apply for partial coverage if the project is co-financed by, e.g., a university. In order to ensure that the PhD student receives optimal support and guidance, the Foundation requires that the application be submitted by the student's supervisor and not by the student him or herself. If possible, the future PhD student should be co-applicant on the application.

  • Supervisors can only submit one application for the application rounds with deadline November 25, 2015. It is however possible to apply for running costs for the project in question.
  • Applications for PhD projects that have been rejected within 12 months before the application deadline will not be reviewed
Applications can be submitted through the Foundation's application system.
